hey guys, wanted to check if people have any issues with an idea of mine
for the wrsselinng event that is cominng up and we take part in.
first
some context. when the signups began /become/ was accepted as a fighter
for it and thus some of us encouraged /meat/bro to sign up for /meat/.
this then started an argument about if they should be allowed inn or not
annd it seemed like now suddenly the rules were changed to exclude
them. some of them over there even used us as a thread as argument of
why they should not be allowed. at that point some of us went ahead and
argued on their behalf.
ultimately the decision came to be that
/meat/ and other banned threads would not be allowed. then earlier
today(or late yesterday depending on timezone) the following statement
was made:
>Why was there debate allowed over /meat/, then?
>During
early deliberation over /become/ and /meat/'s inclusion, it was
apparent that a raid by an outside party was attempting to divert the
narrative. In order to help identify the source of this raid, we allowed
discussion to continue in the short term, then resolved it long-term by
promising internal deliberation. After discovering the source of the
raid, we have elected to forgive and forget, however our deliberation
came to the conclusion that it was better for the health of the event,
the thread, and the board to disallow banned threads entirely from the
first Lord of the Board event. Because of this, /become/, /meat/, and
/oag/'s submissions were not accepted for this event, and we make no
promises of their inclusion in future events.
besides us
making some arguments for /meat/ not really being a raid nor that all
too many from us even were involved. they basicly made the statement of
"forgiving" us. HOWEVER this is fake internet bullshit wrestling about
threads on a mongolian basket weaving forum personafied as wrestlers
fighting each other.
and so i ahd the idea to play on this and
add some heel angle to us for the event, here is the script i had in
mind form the percpective of WARanon:
Forgive us? We have no need for
your forgiveness nor are we afraid and need to hide our actions. We
don't care about managements feelings and what they think is safe and PG
for the audience.
What we did was stand up for a friend and give
them the respect they deserve. Even more so because it was your
management that fucked up and couldn't even make their own rules
properly known or keep straight to them. If standing up for others is
already considered raiding by your standards then H F Z has become a
more dimeless thread than i expected.
And we will stand to our
words and back them up with actions, so if you want to prove us wrong,
then get out the Jaw and fight me in a 30 minute ironman match on may
14th.
I will be waiting.
