Human Library: Book Interest Form
The Human Library™ is designed to build a positive framework for conversations that can challenge stereotypes and prejudices through dialogue. We welcome all kinds of diverse stories as a library does, that not only challenge prejudices and stereotypes but also uplift, educate, and encourage readers. The Human Library™ is a place where real people are on loan to readers, a place where difficult questions are expected, appreciated, and answered. The University of Arkansas Human Library started in 2009 but is a part of the larger international Human Library Organization out of Copenhagen, Denmark, that started in 2000.

Thank you for your interest in serving as a human "book" in the 20th edition of the University of Arkansas's Human Library, taking place March 14-16! As a human book in our library, readers will "check you out" for an hour of your time. This time is reserved for you to talk about your life experiences, from your passions and interests to defining moments and challenges in your life. You will receive volunteer hours via GivePulse for your time.

Your story MATTERS, TESTIFIES, DISMANTLES, EMPOWERS, and UNIFIES. Thank you for trusting us with your story.
