Dear Grant Applicant:

The South-Western City Schools Educational Foundation (SWCSEF) was created in 1986 to assist in the promotion of excellence in the South-Western City School District (SWCSD). Through contributions to the SWCSEF, primarily in the forms of gifts and fundraisers, the SWCSEF is again able to provide education grants to teachers within the SWCSD.  

The maximum grant award is $1,000. NOTE: All technology related grant applications must coincide with the SWCSD "Going Google" initiative. Please keep in mind the criteria included in the rubric when submitting your application. Applications lacking any required documentation will not be considered.

Should your application receive funding from the SWCSEF, you must submit a written summary or presentation of the funded grant activities prior to the last day of school. Please make sure when submitting pictures that you have parent permission as pictures may be included on the SWCSEF Web site.  The SWCSEF also requests that the grant be mentioned in an article in your school newsletters at some point during the school year.

The timeline for educational grant applications is as follows:
- Friday, June 14, 2019, Application Open to SWCSEF staff
- Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, Educational-grant application deadline
- Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, Applications available for pick-up by grant committee members
- Tuesday, Oct. 08, 2019, Board approves grants
- Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, Notification of grant status sent to applicants and building principals via email
