YEAR 7 AND 8 SPORTS CAMP                  EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 2024
Totara Springs Sports Camp:  Monday 5th August - Friday 9th August 2024

If your child is interested in being considered for the opportunity to attend the Year 7 and 8 Totara Springs Sports Camp please ensure that you read the information and then complete and submit the form. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that your form has been submitted.

Expression of interest for the Sports Camp will only be accepted via this expression of interest form.

The year 7 and 8 Sports Camp is held at Totara Springs Christian Camp in Matamata. Students travel by bus to Matamata and then stay on site at Totara Springs for the week.

Sports camp is fun but competitive so students interested in attending must be prepared for 5 days of full on sport and activities. 
Students must have a keen interest in sport and be willing to get involved in a variety of sports over the course of the week. During the week students can compete in over 30 different sports. 
They do not attend sports camp in their regular sports teams but will play in teams with other AJHS students in many of the following sports:                                                                        
Basketball, Croquet, Netball, Petanque, Rugby, Soccer,  Softball, Tennis, Touch, Volleyball. We also have some one off events: Athletics, Cross Country, Frisbee Golf, Hole in one Golf, Kayaking, Swimming and Team Triathlon. One of the highlights of camp is after dinner we keep going  with night sports including Bowls, Caged Soccer, Chess, Darts, Draughts, Indoor Hockey and Indoor Soccer. Plus our own unique sports Cheer Night, Scramball, Spikeball and Wallball.

Approximate cost: $700.00

As part of the selection criteria, students will be required to attend a number of trials. Details to be advised.

Completing the Expression of Interest form does not confirm selection for Sports Camp.
