If you are looking for a short getaway from the chaos of the city you should definitely come with us on our Sirmione + Desenzano Trip on Saturday, 28th of September!

Built on the end of a peninsula sticking out from the southern shore of Lake Garda  Sirmione is hands down the prettiest Garda lake’s settlement, home of Catullus, one of the most famous Latin poet of the late Roman Republic, his villa is well-conserved and can still be visited.The very uncommon Castel of Sirmione (that you can see in the picture) it’s at the entrance of the town but his walls mirror the lake.

9km southwest of Sirmione you can find the ancient harbour of Desenzano del Garda, a very characteristic Italian town that has some pleasant winding historic streets between the town's castle on its hill, and the lakeshore below, perfect for broad promenades or aperitivos with a view on the lake.

This event doesn't have a fee, we are going to buy the train tickets together (around 9€ each way) and enjoy a beautiful day in these stunning places! More information will be given in the next few days, but we're going to leave in the morning and come back in the evening!
