When: Saturday, January 25th from 9:30am-5pm.

Where: Anthem Preparatory Academy Commons, 39808 N Gavilan Peak Pkwy, Anthem, AZ 85086

Who: Any elementary, middle school or high school student is welcome to participate. This is not a rated tournament - it is just for fun and prizes! Students at the beginner level (eg. “just know how to move the pieces”) are welcome to join.

What: This is an unrated tournament. Prizes will be given out for the top 10 students in each section. Games will have a 25/5 time control (25 minutes per side, 5 second delay). If your student has a board and clock, they are encouraged to bring it with them.

Sections: Depending on the number of registrants, we will have an open section and a reserve (beginner) section. Students/parents may choose the category in which their student would like to participate.

Cost: The cost to participate is $5 per student, or $30 per team.
