High School Summer Institute Program Application
Marymount University is excited to partner with Bishop O'Connell High School to offer our first Global Summer Institute Program. This unique opportunity will allow high school students to learn about British politics and socity, as they experience life and culture in the heart of London. Students will also have the option to earn 3 college credits, transferable to many higher education institutions, including Marymount University.    

Led and taught by Dr. Margaret Tseng, Professor of Politics at Marymount University, this Summer Institute course will introduce students to college-level coursework and will blend cultural exploration, guest lectures, reflective reasoning, and group discussions. Students will also be accompanied by Mr. William Betthauser, Social Studies teacher at Bishop O'Connell.

Please note that eligibility and admission decisions will be determined by Bishop O'Connell administration and staff. The deadline to apply to the program is February 28, 2020. A program deposit of $500 will be due by March 30, 2020.

However, please be aware that if your passport expiration date is before January 22,, 2021, you will need to renew your passport. If you do not have a current passport, you must apply early. It may take as long as 12 weeks for processing. You are responsible for all costs associated with your passport.
