I like to start the coaching conversation with a few optional questions around GRIT. Angela Duckworth defined GRIT as "passion and perseverance for very long-term goals". "Grit is sticking with your future, day-in, day-out. Not just for a week, not just for a month, but for years." You start thinking about growing your GRIT by self reflecting on your interests, professional practices, sense of purpose in your work and the sense of hope for your career in the future.
