These courses are provided free of charge to Eastern Region Members. Should you fail to turn up or pull out within a week of the course your club may be charged the cost of the course which is $50.00. Do you acknowledge that you have read and understood this. *
Course Pre Learning (this info will be emailed to you)

Online Pre-learning: The self-directed Patrol Captain online pre-learning must be completed prior to attending the training session. This online course consist of 7 modules:

  1. Roles and Responsibilities
  2. Team Leadership
  3. Building Rapport
  4. Motivate Others
  5. NSOPs/ CSOPs & Risk
  6. Patrol Management
  7. Summary

This can be accessed via the member portal here: https://webportal.surflifesaving.org.nz/ and you can log in by following these steps: watch here. Once logged in, you can self-enrol by clicking on “Training Library”, then into the “Lifesaving – Surf Lifeguard” Course Category, and click on the ‘Patrol Captain (PC) Pre-learning’ “Enrol” button.
