Minooka Junior High School - Exploratory Course Selection Form - INCOMING 7TH GRADE STUDENTS ONLY

For the 2020-2021 School Year:

All students will take the following courses:
Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Advisory, and Resource/Study Hall

Students may elect to enroll in the exploratory course rotation OR full year Spanish OR full year Band.
Students MAY NOT be enrolled in more than one of these courses.

FULL YEAR SPANISH - Please refer to the parent letter for specific requirements to take the full year Spanish in 7th grade. Not all students will qualify for this option. Any student that selects Full-year Spanish that does not meet the qualifying standards will be automatically enrolled into the Exploratory Rotation.

FULL YEAR BAND - To select band as an option you must currently be in band.

EXPLORATORY ROTATION - Students will be assigned a rotation of the following 4 quarter-long classes: Innovations, Technology, Art, Communication.

As a reminder, parents of students who qualify for Academic Interventions at MJHS will alter a student's Exploratory offerings.
