2021 - 2022 St. Charles County CAPS Healthcare Observation Rotations Form
The St. Charles County (SCC) Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) Healthcare program is looking to add new partners to expose student associates (high school juniors/seniors) to different healthcare career paths. Our goal at SCC CAPS is to immerse associates in a multitude of healthcare settings alongside professionals, so they may find where they fit.
One of the key components of SCC CAPS is observational rotations. This is a one-on-one shadow opportunity. Associates will rotate M/W from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm and T/Th from 7:30 am – 10:00 am. If you accept an associate at each time that is 4 times per week, but never 2 associates in one day. However, we will work with whatever you can provide!
And, all of our associates have completed the necessary paperwork/documentation to serve in a voluntary capacity at any BJC Healthcare and SSM Health facility, including a drug test, 2-Step TB test, and background check. The associates have also received BLS and HIPAA training.
Rotations start in January and last through May. Again, we are appreciative of any opportunities you can provide. Official schedule to be determined in the near future.
Complete this form if you would like to host student associates for observation rotations. We look forward to partnering with you to help our students explore careers in healthcare!
