Blue Hyacinth Mosaics will be hosting a "pick your own" mini camp session from August 14th - 16th 2023.

Ages: 6-14.

Option 1: "Marvelous Mosaics" 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Option 2: Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Option 3: "Creative Sculpture" 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

A discount will be available for campers who pick all three sessions. Space is limited.

Here are camp descriptions...

"Marvelous Mosaics"

Learn the fundamentals of mosaic as we create beautiful art projects like mirrors, wall art, flower pots, etc. Fundamentals of design and color as well as appropriate placement of tesserae will be taught. This class does not involve cutting of glass or ceramic.

"Creative Sculpture"

Experiment with materials such as plaster, air-dry clay, wood, wire, etc., as we embark on a journey into the world of 3D art and learn about sculpture-related concepts as we go along. Projects include, but are not limited to bobbleheads, facial portraits, etc.

Lunch should be nut-free and brought from home.

All materials are included in the camp fee. Please disregard the start and end times listed by Square and follow the timings listed above in this description.

Camp fee: As listed above.  Please use coupon code LUNCH for a $20 discount when you sign up for ALL THREE options. Coupon refunds will not be given after checkout is complete. Camp fee is non-refundable after August 1st, 2022. A $25 charge per session will be assessed for cancellations made before  August 1, 2022. If the instructor has to cancel camp due to any reason, the unused portion will be refunded.
Food: A nut-free lunch, snack and water to be brought from home.

Camp instructor is Shona D'Cruz, Early Childhood Educator, Artist and Owner of Blue Hyacinth Mosaics, LLC. Camp must be paid in full and the waiver must be signed prior to the start of camp. Payment is required to reserve your child’s space. Waiver will be sent after the registration form is received. A minimum of 3 students will be required for camp to run.

IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Camp will be held either in our studio or in our backyard under tents, unless noted in the description. In case of inclement weather, camp will move indoors. Campers should come in with bug repellent and sunscreen applied. I will have a fan and mosquito lantern going.
COVID protocols will be assessed and followed based on government regulations at the start of camp sessions.
Should I experience behavior issues related to safety, the child's parent will be contacted. I reserve the right of admission.
