This escape room is fun for all ages.
This is a fan project with no affiliation to The Walt Disney Company. All the characters, stories, videos, and graphics used in the digital escape room belong to their respective copyright owners and the Stratford Public Library does not claim any right over them.
If you are playing alone
You get to have all these powers listed below, but it will be more fun to play with friends of family -- either in person or online with a video chat app!

If you are playing as a group
You need to have this escape room pulled up on one device. Each individual will solve their specific challenges on the singular device. If playing long distance with others, have one person be in charge of putting in the solutions for the rest of the group.

Assign your friends and family the super powers/hero names at the bottom of these instructions. If you have less or more than FIVE players on your team, you'll need to try to evenly distribute the super powers.

There are certain challenges in the control room that can only be completed by select powers. Don't steal another superhero's thunder by trying to complete their challenge for them!
For an extra challenge
You and your family or friends can pull up this room on individual devices and race each other to complete the tasks and finish the escape room first!

During this period of social distancing, it is recommended that you complete this challenge in your home with those in your social bubble or remotely with your friends. Good luck and have fun!
YOUR MISSION:
The Avengers are gone, and the evil organization Hydra is taking advantage of that fact to rebuild their empire!

Only the New Avengers (YOU!) can save the world from Hydra's plans to takeover. Hydra doesn't want to take any chances this time. They just want to achieve their malevolent goal of ruling humanity by force.

Your first mission given to you by S.H.I.E.L.D is to find and decipher the city location of a world-ending doomsday device that is currently being controlled by undercover Hydra agents. The device is set to go off in the next 12 hours so time is of the essence.

However, the secret Hydra lair that holds the information goes on lockdown once you and your team walk through the command center door. What now?

It's simple (relatively). Solve all the puzzles to discover and decipher the doomsday device's location while looking for the code to turn off the lair's security measures so that you can escape!
