Parents,

Palmyra R-1 has received a federal lunch program waiver allowing the district to provide free meals to all children ages 18 and under who live in our school district while schools are closed for COVID-19. In order to serve as many meals as possible, as efficiently as possible, we have established a number of pick-up points throughout the district for people to collect meals rather than delivering meals on bus routes. Meals pickup will start Monday, March 30th.  Meals will be available each day of the week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00-10:00 AM at every pickup point, except at PES. PES pickup times will run from 10:30-11:30 daily.

Please fill out this form as soon as possible so we know how many meals to take to each pickup point.

Families can collect meals for all children up to the age of 18 years. When you collect the meal there will be a lunch meal and breakfast for the next day included in each bag.

We will have a school bus parked at each location. Please drive up to the bus and stay in your car. When you drive up to the bus please indicate how many meals you need. You can write it on a piece of paper, or hold up your hand with the number needed. Roll down your window and someone will get off the bus to deliver the meals.
