The Financial Wellness Program & the Business and Economics club would like to invite you to learn the basics of investing and the relationships of the stock market to our economy. In this one-hour session, we'll discuss the various types of investment tools such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, index funds, and ETFs. We will also have a dialogue about investment strategies and the status of the U.S. economy with Professor Robert Kaulfuss.
Professor Robert Kaulfuss taught business, technology, and economic courses at MCC for 35 years. Starting in 2008, he led and co-led the MCC team in the Fed Challenge Community College Competition 6 times, including 2 national community college championship wins. He has also served as adviser to several clubs, including Business and Economics. His particular passion is in the economics of climate change and sustainable energy for which he has given numerous talks.
