Ontario Summer Development Program -- Athlete Tryout Information

Tryout open to those living in Orillia, M-P, Huntsville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Collingwood, Thornbury, Meaford, Owen Sound

Tryouts will take place on the following dates/locations:

TRYOUT #1 -- May 4 - Twin Lakes (Orillia) 630pm-830pm
TRYOUT #2 -- REVISED May 8 - Pretty River Academy (Collingwood) 1pm-3pm

All athletes trying out for the training pod are required to complete this registration form ahead of the tryout date #1.

Please note: A training pod roster of 15 athletes will be selected after May 8th tryout. That group will train together for a total of 30 hours inclusive of tryout session hours.  From the training pod, a roster (size tbd --will be shared after tryouts) will represent South Simcoe - North Region at the Ontario Summer Games in Mississauga, ON scheduled for the July 21-24, 2022.  Please note that the coaching staff recognizes that we are all living in extraordinary times. Equally so, there is recognition that many prospective athletes may be committed across a wide range of spring/summer activities. Participation in every session is desirable but not a requirement for selection to final Summer Games roster.

Finally, please note that our training pod will conclude its training on the June 17-19 weekend at Olympia Sports Camp (near Huntsville, ON).

Training schedule, training pod and Olympia weekend costs will be shared with athletes at tryout #1/#2.
