Trailnet is inviting you to Drive the Change by pledging to put your phone down and buckle up every time you drive.
April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and it’s a perfect opportunity for you to be a part of a changing culture around driving safety. You know that distracted driving is dangerous. Now, it’s also illegal thanks to the new Missouri Hands Free Law. By committing to driving distraction-free, you're not just following the law — you're actively contributing to a safer, more caring community.
The campaign's primary goal is to collect
Buckle Up Phone Down pledges. We will do so through a peer-to-peer strategy, recruiting campaign "Ambassadors" to each collect 5+ BUPD pledges. Ambassadors receive a digital toolkit, car magnet, and yard sign to promote the campaign.
Use this form to indicate your interest in participating in the campaign. You will receive email updates from Trailnet with more information. Your information will not be shared with anyone outside of Trailnet.
We are recruiting partner organizations to assist with this program in the following ways:
- Be a pick-up location for the "Ambassador Toolkits." Trailnet will provide you with materials. You would need to provide the pick up address, hours, and any instructions the ambassador would need to pick the items up from you.
- Share campaign materials on your social media accounts during April 2024. Trailnet will provide you with graphics and sample copy. Sign up below to receive an update when assets are ready.
- Include a call to action in your e-newsletter or similar electronic communication with your constituents. Trailnet will provide you with graphics and sample copy.
Your organization can choose to take all or some of those actions! Everything helps.
