Latinx Teaching-Artist Fellowship 2020-21: Application Form
Application Deadline: May 31, 2020

Application process includes completing this Fellowship Application Form and submitting required materials. In the event that the COVID-19 situation continues to affect our programming into the summer and fall months, we will work alongside selected artists to reschedule/restructure this fellowship.

ABOUT THE LATINX TEACHING ARTIST FELLOWSHIP
In its tenth year, the Latinx Teaching-Artist Fellowship (LTAF) provides free studio workspace to two Latinx artists in exchange for being an integral part of Root Division’s Studios Program. In large part, the commitment involves teaching classes two afternoons per week at Mission Education Center (MEC), a K-5 newcomer school for children who have recently emigrated from Latin America to San Francisco. Working as teaching-artists in residence for the full school year, LTAFs develop and facilitate projects in our My Two Homes curriculum, which guides students in discussions, story-telling, and art-making around in their transition to a new home in the U.S.

More information about the fellowship can be found here:
