The Gala Pride and Diversity Center supports and empowers people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions to strengthen and unite our Central Coast Community.

We are looking for new board members for 2 year terms, beginning in January 2023.  Nominees will be joining an increasingly diverse Board of Directors who are involved in exciting changes and improvements including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work, fundraising (no personal funds required), event planning, governance and policy making and potential expansion of services and programs.

With two paid staff members and more on the horizon, this is an exciting time to join our board and find out what's going on behind the scenes as we serve LGBTQ+ communities in San Luis Obispo County!

WHO: Community members who are passionate about LGBTQ+ issues in San Luis Obispo County
WHAT: Gala Pride & Diversity Center Board of Directors
WHEN: Starting January 2023 for a 2 year term
WHERE: Zoom and in-person
WHY: Due to our continued growth it is time to expand the number of board members

COMMITMENT: Total time commitment 5-12 hours a month, 2 year term with a monthly evening board meeting on the third Tuesday of the month.

The nominations committee will reach out to every nomination we receive. We are excited to talk to each nominee as we undertake this board expansion at The Pride Center!
