Looking for a way to learn about STEM, business, and marketing? We’ve got just the competition for you! Technovation is a world-wide organization that empowers young girls to pursue careers in the STEM and business fields, and invites teams of girls from all over the world to learn and apply the skills needed to solve real-world problems through technology. Technovation encompasses a 12 or 20-week plan of curriculum and lessons including code, business, marketing, and giving sales pitches.

As we kick- off the 2021 season of Technovation, the Technovation Girls student ambassadors from North Carolina will be hosting three events partnering with various organizations in the area to support teams throughout the challenge. Teams are encouraged to work together and commit three hours a week from January to April to complete the challenge. Additionally, there will be various mentors and guest speakers from today's workforce to inspire and educate girls. Girls will be asked to generate an idea or solution to a problem, build a mobile app, write a business plan, and develop a pitch. No coding experience is required, as you will learn from the Technovation Curriculum and professionals! Apart from the national competition, the NC Technovation chapter will have a regional competition, the top winners of which will receive awards.
