MISF Volunteers Signup 2023
Margazhi in San Francisco Music and Dance Festival organized by National Ethnic Arts Inc 501(c)(3) organization from December 15, 2023 - January 13, 2024. The festival invites artists from across the globe to participate in-person in the SF bay area and virtually. 

4th Annual Margazhi in San Francisco is welcoming community support to run the festival successfully and by this opportunity one will be benefitted by working closely with the organization, organizing cultural events. 

Inperson Dates requirement:
December 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30
January 5, 6, 12, 13

Virtual Dates requirement:
December 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31
January 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11

Pre-Production Volunteers Commitment:
December 1, 2023 - January 13, 2024

Benefits: 
- Volunteers get their valuable community hours.
- Volunteers get 1 free ticket for all the inperson events plus a discount coupon for additional guests that they may bring to the events. 
- Volunteers get to fill out a time sheet for their community hours 
- Volunteers get thr opportunity to learn more about the National Ethnic Arts events and organization.

We welcome volunteers to participate in as many days as possible!

Volunteers are required to stay the whole duration or complete their assigned duties: Fri / Sat 5pm - 9pm

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reception
Check Tickets
Handout Brochures and handouts

Artists coordinator
To make sure Artsists arrive on time. Coordinate with them incase of any need.
To make sure they arrive at the back stage at the right time for their turn.

Program coordinator
To Make sure Program starts and ends on time,
To make sure the right music is played. Coordinate with the AC for the order of the music to be played.

Volunteers Coordination VC
To be able to contact and coordinate with Volunteers
To be able to help the volunteers and fill in for missing volunteers if needed.

Master of Ceremony and Certificate distribution
To conduct the event, announce the order of the items, and Certificate distribution.

Stage Setup, Decorations, and Wrap up
To setup the stage. Banner, Banner stand, floral decorations, Lamp, Nataraja, etc.,
To wrap up the same and help pack them.

Other Volunteers
Who can help with on the spot requirements and any misc requirements.

Website coordinator
Keep the Website updated with events for the MISF
Make sure to update designs time an dates.
Make sure to update youtube links on everday basis once the festival starts

Content creator
To create content for email marketing, social media marketing

Pre production volunteers
To be able to handle Video Editing following the template / guidelines
To be able to schedule upload as a premiere on youtube.
Live streaming if any
To be available on call

Volunteers Coordination
Contact and coordinate with Volunteers
To be able to help the volunteers and fill in for missing volunteers if needed.

Other Volunteers
Who can help with on the spot requirements and any misc requirements.
