Join the Volunteer Opportunities Program (VOP) at YES for a 6-week volunteer series with the Potawot Community Food Garden. Volunteers will assist with outdoor projects which may include weeding, tending greenhouse plants, orchard care, strawberry harvesting, and more!

Sign up for one date or multiple dates, depending on your schedule and interest.

Weekly: Tuesday from 10:30am-12:00pm (3/1/22 through 4/12/22)
Project: Assist with gardening projects at Potawot Community Food Garden
Details: Limited to 15 students per week/gardening visit. Masks and wellness self-checks required. Outside projects only (rain or shine).

Volunteers are responsible for securing their own transportation to the volunteer site in Arcata. YES will email you information about transportation and recommended clothing to help you prepare for this volunteer project. Please check your HSU email to learn more.
