The Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), in collaboration with the ASEAN Studies Centre of Chulalongkorn University will be organising the ASEAN Prosperity Forum on 22 October 2019 in Bangkok.

The forum will be held as part of IDEAS' ASEAN Prosperity Initiative (API). This initiative is designed to identify the major opportunities and challenges relating to ASEAN’s future prosperity. This initiative was launched in December 2018.

The forum will feature 2 presentation: this year's ASEAN Integration Report 2019, a report published by IDEAS that tracks the implementation of the AEC.

The forum will also launch a book published by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) titled "An Evolving ASEAN: Vision and Reality" . The book reviews the evolution of the ASEAN economic integration and assesses the major achievements.
