Join us for an exciting program of Engineering through woodwork. This is a full day camp for children ages 3 and up where they learn to work with real tools building meaningful projects out of wood.  We believe children thrive in active, nature-based, outdoor setting where they are breathing fresh air (weather permitting) and learning about their environment while creating their projects.  

We are accepting registrations for children between 3 to 10 years old in 2 separate age groups.  Small groups of students will switch between outdoors (weather permitting) and inside so that each group is separated. Our program is forest school inspired where students spend a good portion of the day actively exploring our local parks and learning about nature while working with their hands.  

*We will have at least 1 field trip day to Liberty State park or the Nature Interpretive Center.  We are cooperating with the Nature Interpretive Center to provide a weekly field trip learning about the local bird species, marine life, plants and insects.

$85 per day for up to 2 days
$75 per day for 3-4 day sign ups
$370 for the whole week
* 15% sibling discount for second, third siblings etc.
 
Daily schedule:
9:00- 9:30  Drop off
9:30- 9:45 snack
10:00 - 11:30 Project work indoors in small groups while the rest the group is outside
12:00- 1:00 Lunch outdoors unless bad weather
1:00 - 3:00 Nature Discovery with small groups while the others work indoors
3:00 - 3:30 Reflections, team building saying good bye for the day
3:30 - 4:00 Pick up

**Outside time will be as much as we can depending on the weather, in harsh weather conditions we will be indoors mostly.  

When the kids will be indoors they will wash hands and will work with their own sanitized set of tools and materials.  When the kids are outside we will provide sanitizer and wet wipes to clean hands.  At the end of each day all tools and materials will be sanitized in preparation for next day.  

2 age groups: 4-7 years old, 8-10 years old

Location: Drop off and pick up in downtown Jersey City, NJ 07302 (some days the drop off will be in Hamilton Park Gazebo and other days it will be at 54 Coles Street, pick up from 54 Coles street.)
