Play Therapy Institute @ UMSL - 2022 Conference Call for Proposal
The Play Therapy Institute @ UMSL is seeking proposals for the 2022 UMSL Play Therapy Conference. The conference will take place in person at UMSL on Thursday and Friday, July 21-22. The Conference is scheduled to run from 9am-4:30pm both days. We are seeking proposals from mental health professionals on a variety of topics related to play therapy, including skills, knowledge, practice, and/or supervision.

Presenters do not need to be a Registered Play Therapist or Supervisor in order to present but must have a masters degree in a mental health field and expertise and training in play therapy techniques. Co-presentation or presentations by a group of individuals is acceptable. There is not a limit to how many proposals an individual can submit. Please use a new form for each proposal. Presenters will be able to attend the conference for free on the day of their presentation.

Proposals will be peer reviewed by the conference planning committee and presenters will be notified after March 30.

By submitting this proposal, you agree to prepare a 90 minute educational session for conference attendees as described. Conference sessions should be designed as post-graduate instruction. All conference sessions should use instructional methods that actively involve the learner. You must use references, citations, and research in your presentation, including at least 3 from scientific journals in the past 5 years. A full copy of your presentation slides will be due for review 2 weeks prior to the conference. Thank you!
