The Assessment of Teaching Skills - Written   (ATS-W) Review Workshops- Spring 2021
All SoE graduates for SPRING 2020, FALL 2020 and SPRING 2021 are eligible to participate in the ATS-W workshop sessions. The workshops will prepare candidates for the ATS-W New York State Teacher Certification Examinations which are offered at both the Elementary level, and the Secondary level.  The ATS-W Elementary test should be taken by students who are teaching in Grade K through Grade 6. The ATS-W Secondary should be taken by students teaching in Middle Schools and High School grade levels. However, either test will now be accepted to satisfy the certification requirement for either level (Elementary or Secondary).

Note: SoE graduates who are teaching with the COVID 19 certificate will be given first priority in these sessions, but must register early.  Participants should review the 'Test Design Framework' for the appropriate ATS-W (Test Design & Frameworks) and the test exemplars at this link (https://www.ccny.cuny.edu/ltrcenter/certification_exams) in preparation for the workshop sessions.
