Please fill this form to register for RiSa Astronomy's popular 'Camping Under the Stars' event. Once you register, you would receive payment and advance details. Slots will be confirmed upon advance payment of 1500rs per head via Gpay/UPI and account pay only. The rest should be paid before the event starts.
Cancellation policy, refund and transparency
1) Cancellation with full refund up to 3 days before the event start date i.e cancellation allowed till Apr 24th, 3pm. After that we will not be able to refund the booking amount nor reschedule your booking to another date. You can transfer the booking to friends and family and inform us about the same.
2) Astronomy is a weather dependent activity. Once the event has begun, no part or full refund will be provided if we are unable to look through the telescope due to bad weather. We do our best to conduct the event during clear nights but the weather forecast is not 100% reliable
3) Only Reliance Jio works at 4g speeds at the farm. Airtel only works for a few minutes during the trek and tractor ride routes. Jio Hotspot is available on request for low bandwidth usage
Pricing
Tents - The tents are exclusive to your family/group. Washrooms are also exclusive to your family/group as long as you register for 2 or more people. Tent can accomodate 2 adults or 3 adults. if your family or group is larger than 3, we will provide more than 1 tent
3500 Rs per head for everyone over the age of 12 years, including adults
3000 Rs per head for kids who turned 4 and up to the age of 11 years
No charge for kids who haven't yet turned 4 years old, however additional cost may apply for telescope access
Cottage - Rs500 additional per head. Exclusive cottage and attached washrooms. Only available for 2 or more paying participants. Our cottages are varying sizes and can accommodate 2-6 adults in each

Exclusions/Inclusions:
We do not provide transport. You have to reach on your own. There is plenty of parking available for cars and tempos
The above pricing includes Buffet Dinner, Buffet Breakfast, exclusive tent for your family (or group), exclusive washroom, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, astronomy theory and viewing through the telescope, plus evening tea and snack. We also have included a hike to a nearby hill for sunset view and a fun tractor ride in the morning to a nearby ancient temple and lake.
(Please note that if you are coming alone washroom will be on sharing basis. We would be able to give you an exclusive tent based on availability of the same.)
Important: Meals are pre booked so if you want to have lunch here, it may not be available. You will have to call the café directly and make sure lunch is available before your visit. Please pay the farm directly for the additional lunch @ Rs 750 per head.
Public transport - 3 busses, travel time approx. 3 hours
1) KR Market or Silkboard (start of electronic city flyover) to Hosur
2) Hosur to Denkanikottai
3) Denkanikottai to Panchpalli dam route, our bus stop name is Dhadigal. This bus passes in front of our gate! Auto from Denkanikottai may charge between 200-400 rs to our farm
(The above works for return as well. The bus stop is about 200 meters away and busses are available every hour.)
Uber/Ola - No taxi available at farm so whatever vehicle comes to drop you, please discuss with the driver to take you back as well the next day. Besides the driver/taxi fare, you would have to pay interstate tax for entering Tamil Nadu in a yellow board vehicle. We are not aware of the exact amount to be paid at the check post.
Schedule
3.00 PM: Arrival/Relax and enjoy the farm and take in the views. 6.45PM: Stargazing session 2 - Explore the clusters on our Moon, nebula , dense star clusters, double stars with powerful telescopes. Introduction to the night sky. Learn to identify some constellations, names of some bright stars. Also, watch artificial satellites with your naked eyes.
4.30 AM: Stargazing with telescopes resume. Saturn, the current phase of Venus, Mars, our Moon, morning constellations, artificial satellites and learn how the sky changes with time.
