Hello Parents and Students,

The 5th grade band is currently seeking new members for the 2020 school year! Come learn to play an instrument and make music! We have limited seating and instruments available, so act now to become part of the band!

Is band right for you? Here are some important things to consider before joining band:
Band allows you to meet and interact with people outside of your normal classroom. It’s an opportunity to meet new friends!

Band students are normally expected to play in multiple concerts throughout the year. We currently are not planning any concerts due to COVID-19, but concerts will definitely begin again once the COVID situation is over.

The band normally has at least one field trip a year. Again, field trips are not currently planned due to COVID, but band continues into middle school and high school!

Joining band in the 5th grade allows you to join the middle school marching bands in 6th grade. The middle school band plays at middle school football games!
