College of Biological Sciences Passport Program Application Form
The goal of the College of Biological Sciences Passport Program is to help students remove one of the first barriers to studying abroad: obtaining a passport. Students selected for this program will receive assistance in the passport application process and will have their passport paid for by the College of Biological Sciences.
Interested students must apply by February 15, 2021. Late applications will not be considered.
Eligibility for the College of Biological Sciences Passport Program include:
• UMNTC Student
• 18 years old or older
• US citizen
• Full-time degree seeking student in the College of Biological Sciences
• Applying for your first passport (passport renewals are ineligible)
Preference is given to students who:
• Demonstrate financial need by having an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $15,000 or less for the previous or current academic year on the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
• Plan to participate in a learning abroad program during their undergraduate career at the University of Minnesota
• Freshman or Sophomore class standing
