Aloha everyone! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Esther Hi'ilani Candari, I am a practicing fine artist and professional educator. Due to the recent addition of a studio to my home, I will be expanding my offerings to include group art classes.
A little bit about me, I grew up in Hawai'i and attended BYU-H where I graduated with a degree in painting, sculpture, and photography. I then completed a residency at the New York Academy of Arts and an MFA at Liberty University. My work has been exhibited, published, and purchased in cities across the US including San Fransisco, Salt Lake, Chicago, and New York City. I have worked as an educator in the arts in various capacities for ten years now including teaching painting, art history, drawing, and sculpture at a highschool level, and painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, professional practices, and anatomy at a collegiate level. I currently work online as adjunct faculty for Southern Virginia University.
While much of my professional work is religious in nature, I welcome students of all religious and ideological affiliations as well as all cultural backgrounds. To view my work, see the link below:
