One of the key ingredients in effective Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is to  become a more objective, less emotionally reactive observer of the challenging moments in your life.  By using this log to break down difficult moments, it will become easier to move through and past anxiety vs. getting stuck fighting to "not have" or run from emotional distress.
