Turning Points Huddle Application Form
Hey, it's great to see you here! This is the application form for the Turning Points Huddle. It should take about 30 minutes to complete. The form is designed to help you and I both understand whether the Huddle and you are right for one another. I invite you to use the process of answering the questions to reflect on what draws you to taking part - there is no right or wrong way to answer.  I'm so excited to get to know you a bit more through reading your responses. Grab a hot drink and get stuck in!

Section 1: Personal information
A bit about who you are and where you are!
Full name *
Where do you live? e.g. Heavitree, Thorveton *
Tell me a bit about you.
You can answer this however you want. I'd love to get a sense of who you are as a person.
*
How did you hear about Turning Points? *
Section 2: Your Huddle proposal
Some of you will be coming to this with a really clear plan and purpose, and some of you might feel drawn to taking part without feeling fully clear on what you hope to get from it. This next section of questions is an  opportunity to think a bit about what you'd love to explore and gain through taking part in this Huddle. I invite you to share as much as you can here, even if it feels very early stage!
What draws you to taking part in Turning Points? *
We invite you to come up with a Learning Question that you follow as a personal inquiry for the duration of the peer learning journey.
We will help you come up with this, but it would be great to hear any initial thoughts you have. What question would you love to explore over the next 4.5 months? It might be personal, professional or societal. E.g. How might I build my business in Exeter?  How can I honour the transition into my forties? What's next for me as I career change?
*
Tell me 3 things you'd love to get from this.  *
These might refer to new understandings, skills or attitudes you wish to develop. This is what you intend to gain through taking part in Turning Points and should be realistic for a 4 month programme.
Don't worry if these don't feel super clear yet, but use the space below to share what you'd love to leave with, when we finish in early February.
Describe the tangible deliverable/s you hope to produce *
Huddles are focused on project-based learning, supporting you to produce something that will demonstrate the work you've done. Developing your project may lead you to produce something very different to what you are able to outline now - but this gives us a sense of your starting point. E.g. 'a working prototype', 'a podcast that I've edited, produced and promoted' or 'a scrapbook of ideas'
Please confirm that you understand that this is a peer-to-peer programme: *
This Huddle is not a programme that is being run for you by someone else. It is a peer-to-peer programme which means participants take on shared responsibility for success and realisation of the experience. Your host will guide your journey and help you to make the most of this opportunity. The more participants contribute to the collective the more value there is available to everyone.
The dates are mostly set, with some room for negotiation amongst us as group. Please read the below and let me know any you know you cannot make.

*
Required
Section 3: Your background and experience
This helps me to get a sense of the individuals who will make up our peer group.
How would you describe the work you do?
What challenges are you - or would you like to be - tackling? (max 100 words)
*
Tell me about something you've created or been part of that you're proud of.  *
Section 4: Fees
Cost ranges from £590 - £1200 dependent on your circumstances and finances. There are also a small amount of bursaries available, as well as the possibility to pay in instalments over 3,4 or 6 months. If you are able, we encourage you to contribute to our higher tier. This makes it possible to offer lower cost places to those with less income: and makes it possible for you to learn as part of a more diverse group. Above all, Huddlecraft never want fees to stand in the way of someone taking part, and I am aware that this is a financially precarious moment for many, so please reach out if you are keen but want to discuss the price point.
Which fee bracket is most appropriate for you? *
Which payment plan do you think you'd be opting for? *
Are you applying for a bursary? *
Please tell us a bit about your eligibility.
We offer bursaries to anyone who identifies from a group that is typically under represented or who has less power and privilege. For example disabled people, refugees or asylum seekers, those who identify as Black, Asian or other racialised or minoritised ethnic groups, those who identify as LGBTQ+, and/or those on a low income.
Do you consent to Huddlecraft using the data you have provided to add you to our mailing list and email you about upcoming activities? (We respect your privacy, will always keep your data safe and will never spam you.) *
Finally...Is there anything else you'd like to tell us? Do you have any questions you want to ask?
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
