Summer Theatre Intensive Sign Up
Thank you for registering your child/children for Blue Canoe's Sumer Theatre Intensives. We strive to meet the needs of all of our campers and would encourage parents to give us as much information as possible so that we can ensure the best experience for your child/children. Once you complete the form you will be sent an email within 2-5 business days requesting payment for camp. Please note: registration is not confirmed until payment is made. The Toe Dip - $185
1 week (August 2nd-6th)
Signing up for the Toe Dip option would mean your child will get to try out many different elements of our Musical Theatre Intensive in a low-pressure, high energy environment! The Toe Dip will include a mock musical theatre audition, callbacks, theatre games, icebreakers, crafts and they will even get a chance to learn and rehearse the first two songs from “Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr.” as ensemble members. This is the perfect way for your child to meet new friends, try their hand at musical theatre for the first time or build upon existing skills and experience!

The Dive In - $375
August 2nd-13th OR August 9th-20th
The Dive In option is for those who are looking for more time at camp whilst making a lower commitment. Within the Dive In option, you can choose to do either the first two weeks or second two weeks of the full three week session. See below for the two-week options:

The Dive In #1
2 weeks - August 2nd-13th
This option will span over the first two weeks of camp. It will include a mock musical theatre audition, callbacks, theatre games, icebreakers, crafts and they will even get a chance to learn and rehearse the entire show as ensemble members with some opportunities for solos if they are interested. They will also get the chance to help with set, props, and costume design! This option excludes the final week where they will be doing dress and tech rehearsals and it’s also when the final performance will take place.

The Dive In #2
2 weeks - August 9th-20th
This option will span over the second two weeks of camp. This will include a chance for your child to jump right into the show process with the other campers. In these two weeks they will learn and rehearse 4 of the 6 total songs as ensemble members with some opportunities for solos if they are interested. Not only will your child learn a large chunk of the show, they will also be able to work on the set, props, costumes, and other creative elements that go into the final performance. As well, your child will be featured in the final performance for you to come and enjoy!
