Outcomes:
Research shows that trauma can undermine children’s ability to learn, form relationships, and function appropriately.  Many of our students are impacted by trauma as they grow and develop. The cohort will assist educators in strengthening trauma-sensitive classroom practices by:
• Identifying strategies for becoming sensitive to trauma
• Implementing best practices to develop executive functioning
• Recognizing best practices to develop resilience in students
