HEDA Application Form
Please use the below form to apply to be a Higher Education Dodgeball Activator (HEDA) at your institution. We will only select a maximum of 2 HEDA's per university who actively show through this application that they fit the criteria.

It is a requirement of the HEDA role that all applicants from institutions based in England must be available and able to travel to one of our HEDA Training days - to be held in:
- Surrey on Thursday 5th September 2024, 10am-4:30pm OR
- Manchester on Friday 6th September 2024. 10am-4:30pm

Applications from universities in Scotland, Wales and NI are encouraged to attend the HEDA training day however alternative online provision may be provided for those that cannot travel.

Why do we ask this? It would be ideal to have HEDA's of varying genders at each institution so they are involved in, and can champion a wider range of dodgeball categories. This will not always be possible however, due to the make up of each institution's club or committee and quality of applications.

Your university club will be contacted to support your application. Please list your University Sports Officer's/ Athletic Union's contact information if your university doesn't yet have a formalised dodgeball club.
Student status - next academic year *
Applicants are only eligible if they will be classed as a student for the entirety of the 24/25 academic year. Those who are partaking in a year in industry will only be selected if they can show in this application that they will be an active part of their university club as sessions and in the committee during the academic year.
Role in University Club Committee - next academic year *
Applicants are only eligible if they will hold an active role in their university committee for the 24/25 academic year. As some university clubs may not have yet finalised their roles before the application deadline, please select 'Not yet confirmed; and include information on what role(s) you are going to apply for and when approximately the roles will be allocated in the 'Other...' section. Once confirmed, please let us know by emailing aden@britishdodgeball.com.

Applicants are only eligible if you can attend a HEDA Training Day listed above. Should your circumstances change (e.g. you are at home when you initially did not plan to be) and you wish to attend the other location then please let us know by emailing aden@britishdodgeball.com.

These will be provided at the HEDA training day as a benefit of the role (or posted to applicants from non-English institutions that cannot attend the training day in person).
