Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the JBF Katy team.  We are hiring specifically for our Spring event at Skyline Volleyball Academy.

Marketing Assistant (Part time/Temp Position) Timeframe is immediately - 3 May 2024.  This is a remote position and will be 20 hours per week. Most tasks will need to be done during business hours. Will require own transportation. 
Pay Rate - $15/hr + access to earliest shopping time on presale day

Job Description: 
Candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to share the JBF mission and have own transportation to deliver marketing materials.  Jobs include (but not limited to):
Delivering marketing to local Daycares
Identifying/Liaising with Sponsorship Partners
Engaging on Social media Accounts
Manning supply pickup times

TEAM LEAD (Part time/Temp Position) Timeframe is 6 May - 12 May.  Must be available to work during drop off 7 May (12pm - 8pm), 8 May (9am - 12am) and sort 11 May (2:30pm - 8:30pm)
Pay rate is $15.00 per hour (pay increases to $18.00 per hour for sort - Saturday 2:30pm - 10pm) + access to earliest shopping time on presale day
**consignors will also earn an extra 10% on their sales in addition to the hourly rate**

Job Description: 
Candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to lead the setup and break down of their assigned area (ie clothing, shoes, toys, large items, etc).  Training will be provided but previous JBF drop off and sort experience is a plus. 
Jobs include (but not limited to):
Leading a specific area during drop off and ensuring all items are placed on the tables prior to the start of the sale. 
Leading a specific area for sort to ensure everything is sorted efficiently and accurately

Sale Week Staff (Seasonal/Temp position)Timeframe is 6 May - 12 May.  Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours at the sale.
Pay rate is $12.50 per hour (pay increases to $15.00 per hour for sort - Saturday 2:30pm - 10pm) -+ access to earliest shopping time on presale day

Job Description:
Team Member roles are supportive roles at the sale. Team member positions are valuable roles
needed to help the sale to run smoothly. Jobs include (but not limited to):
Checkout Area Assistance
Operating Hold Area
Welcome Desk
Assisting Customers with purchased items
Checking Receipts and Thanking shoppers
Managing yellow tagged items
Sorting Go Backs
General Sales Floor Organization
Post Sale Sort
Assisting with Consignor Pick up Process
Assisting with presale organization
Assisting with Marking
Merchandise pickup
