The International Chess Federation (FIDE) and Indian Oil Corporation are proud to organize the second in-person Chess for Freedom Conference from June 19-21, 2024, in Pune, India. This event will gather experts from the global chess community to explore the use of chess as a rehabilitation tool for incarcerated individuals. This significant event will be hosted by The All India Chess Federation and Maharashtra Chess Association.

Please note: this registration form is only for the onsite participation. Registration for the online conference is not needed, it will be broadcasted on FIDE YouTube Channel.

The conference will take place in Pune , India, 19-20-21 June with 2 days of conference and visit to a correctional institution. They organizers are happy to offer lunches during conference days and gala dinner for all participants. The hotel (Address - WEIKFIELD IT CITI INFO PARK, Nagar Rd, Sakore Nagar, Viman Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra 411014) rate is between 100-120 USD per night with breakfast and dinner. Special accommodation rates are arranged for participant convenience.

Please register before 7th June to make sure we accommodate you at the most flexible conditions.
