Nature Based Therapy Certificate Interest Form

Please complete this form to be updated on the next open registration for the "Nature Based Therapy Certificate". We generally offer this class once in the spring and once in the fall, usually held at Clackamette Park in Oregon City.

***If you are interested in scheduling a group of at least 5 or more people, please note below and we can create a specific class schedule for your group! We are able to travel to teach!***

The Nature Based Therapy Certificate teaches how to foster a professional relationship with Nature to help improve your overall professional experience. The content of this certificate is adaptable to your professional needs. The certificate is a 6 workshop (3 hours each), for a total of 18 hours.

Each workshop will be hosted outside (or possibly virtual) and will include educational, interactive, and experiential opportunities for participants. The certificate will be capped at 10 people to maximize engagement and learning experience. 

This certificate is intended for any provider (e.g. mental health therapist, medical provider, occupational therapist, teacher, school staff) interested in supporting a paradigm shift within mental health to make our approaches more normalized and sustainable for everyone.

Pricing is based on level of experience:
  1. Graduate Student: $600 
  2. New Professional (Less than 3 years in profession): $750 
  3. Established Professional (3+ years in profession): $1050
***Continuing education credits are available for licensed therapists, totaling 18 CEs including 3 CE for cultural competency and 3 for legal/ethical topics.***

(For the virtual modality, experiential activities would be adapted to encourage building a relationship with your local Nature, while also still fostering group discussion.) *
