Grieving Through the Seasons 2025 Interest Form
We're so happy you're here! Grieving Through the Seasons is an ecotherapy grief support group in Shoreline, WA for LGBTQIA2S+ adults and allies. We meet outdoors once a month for 12 months on Fridays from 2pm-4pm starting March 28th. This group offers a unique opportunity to process grief through nature-based activities and therapeutic support. We will explore how grief shifts and changes as we move through each season. 
Participants can expect a safe and supportive environment where you can connect with others, share your experiences, and explore personal growth in connection with nature. 
Grief therapy can provide a structured way to process emotions related to loss, whether it be the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a sense of safety, a sense of self, or any other kinds of loss.Through guided discussions and nature-based activities you will have the chance to express your feelings, honor your experiences, and find solace in the natural world.

Grieving Through the Seasons will be co-facilitated by Carly Christen (she/her), LMHC and Guy Scheibner (he/him), LMHC. 
Guy identifies as queer, transmasc, white (English and German descent), US born, able-bodied, middle class, and spiritual.
Carly identifies as queer, cis-gender female, white (British Isles and eastern European descent), US born, able-bodied, middle-class, ex-evangelical, and spiritual.
We strive to hold awareness of our own areas of privilege and practice from a place of cultural humility. We are affirming of LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, fat, and neurodivergent folx.

The full fee for this group is $100 per session, with sliding scale rates available. If you are concerned about cost, we are happy to work with you.
