Entry 5
As I sat in y house, bored out of my mind. My mother, oh, she was so kind. She said a tree is what she would find. And then I cried and whined. Now that was a big mistake; all of the tears were fake. A trees better than a swim in the lake! Better than a Triple Chocolate cake! The tree was planted and it grew. And grew some more too; Until it grew feet above our house, just a few. All the way ups, where the birds flew! And how I loved this tree! On it, I felt so free! I swung on a swing, and I enjoyed tea. This was where I could be me! This was my happy place! A beautiful, joyful face. My happiness was packed in a case, but now I let it out: at my tree, my home base.
