AR Interior Design & Inspiration
Hi, I'm a final year interaction design student. For my final project I'm developing a mobile app. It's an AR Interior Design App, a product that allows users to digitally design and plan out their space. Users can take advantage of AR tools to effectively preview their interior changes. They can then share their space with others in a social setting for inspiration.

Incase you're not familiar with it. AR works by blending the digital and real-world, so you can view digital assets in the real world. Some examples of this are Pokemon Go, which allows you to see different Pokemon in your back garden or where you are through your phone. Another example of AR would be face filters on Snapchat and Instagram which place digital masks over your face.

I plan to use AR to allow people to accurately draw floor plans of their home space. As well as letting them preview interior design choices before committing to them, like a new piece of furniture, changing their curtains or repainting their wall.
