Congratulations on being selected as a participant for Khursand: Retreat for Youth Human Rights Defenders (2021) by HOPE. We are excited to welcome you!

In order to make your participation comfortable and meaningful, we request that you fill this form below to indicate your needs. This form is a formal agreement between you and HOPE ascertaining that you have read the rules and guidelines that you must observe during your stay at the retreat location.

I understand that this is Retreat is a NO SEXUAL HARASSMENT zone and actions construing as sexual harassment under HOPE's policy will not be tolerated.

I understand that all spaces (physical or virtual) connected to the Retreat at any time between November 18-21 are treated as a 'workplace' under HOPE's policy.

I understand that I can approach appointed members of HOPE's team if I have to report sexual harassment at the Retreat.

I understand that HOPE reserves the right to take appropriate action on a complaint of sexual harassment filed by a participant, including sanction and immediate removal of the offender from the premises.

I will travel to/from the retreat location based on a travel plan confirmed by HOPE.

I will reside on a shared accommodation basis and treat my roommate in a dignified manner.

I will engage respectfully, share meaningfully and listen actively in the sessions and activities during all three days of the Retreat.

I will cooperate with the hotel management and organizing team in all regards and I will treat all trainers, staff and participants in a respectful and kind manner.

HOPE reserves the right to take action against any participant for breaching security or ethical protocols for the retreat.
