ICARE is a coalition of legal service providers in New York City, which includes the following organizations: Catholic Charities Community Services, Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), Legal Aid Society, Safe Passage Project and The Door.
Please complete this form only if you meet the following criteria:- you entered the United States under the age of 18 without a parent or guardian AND
- you reside in New York City (Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens or Staten Island) AND
- you are currently in immigration removal proceedings
We need to collect the following information to help us determine if one of our members can represent you in your legal case.
All the information that you provide on this form and during any subsequent interviews is confidential and will not be disclosed without your permission. By completing this form, you consent to sharing information with the ICARE member organizations listed above.
**IMPORTANT: Children who entered the U.S. with their parents and are in removal proceedings as part of a family unit are not eligible for services under this program.
