Parkway Elementary School Vacation Request
School attendance is very important.  Although students who have excused absences are allowed to make up work, they miss the class discussions and teacher explanations.  Parkway Elementary School understands that situations exist which dictate that vacations are taken during the school year.  Any parent request to have the student out of school for three to five days will be considered a vacation.  The principal will review requests for vacations to determine whether a vacation request will be approved.  The student’s academic performance, previous attendance, and reason for the request will be taken into consideration when reviewing the request.  Please complete this form to be submitted it to the elementary office at least one‐week prior to the date you are requesting.  Parents will be notified of approval or denial of the vacation request.
