There is scientific evidence that many conch fishing grounds are depleted in The Bahamas. There is also evidence that there are a few areas that still have an abundance of conch. Improved management is needed to avoid the eventual loss of the conch fishery due to overfishing.  The purpose of this survey is to consult stakeholders on what measures should be used to manage the queen conch fishery in The Bahamas. The measures listed below were developed based on science.Stakeholder opinions are also  a key component of fisheries management.
