Year 12 Options for 2021/2022

This form is to be completed by external students submitting a late application to study in year 12 at Burnham Grammar School for the academic year 2021/22.

Late applications will be considered in line with the BGS admissions policy.  Applicants who hold existing offers will be considered first.

The entry criteria is 44 points, including English Language and Maths.  You must achieve at least a grade 5 in both English Language and Maths.  In addition to this you must meet the individual subject entry criteria (Please see https://sites.google.com/burnhamgrammar.org.uk/virtual-sixth-form-event-2020/how-to-apply)

You cannot pick more than 1 subject from each option pool.

To study 4 A levels you must have achieved at least 60 points, however there is no obligation to study 4 as most universities offer places based on 3 completed A levels.

All subjects are 2 year courses.

Some subjects may become unavailable to you because other candidates with better entry qualifications have filled the class.

Subjects in capitals have reduced lesson allocations.
