We're excited to announce our fourth season of NOLA Filshop!

If you are interested in applying and want to learn more about the collective, come by The Blue House (1700 S Rampart St, New Orleans, LA 70113) on Thursday September 5, from 7 - 9 pm for the Filmshop open house!  Complimentary beverages will be provided.  Please RSVP below.  

Founded in 2009, Filmshop is a nonprofit collective of independent filmmakers committed to developing new work through peer support and collaboration. Chapters in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and New Orleans meet weekly to workshop projects, offer constructive critique, and incubate new ideas.

Filmshop will meet Thursday evenings starting September 26 for 12 consecutive weeks.  At each meeting, two members present their current works-in-progress to solicit constructive feedback from the group.  Every week, spirited discussions inevitably ensue, and it is as much a learning experience for the members giving feedback as it is for those presenting.
