Student Technology Use Acknowledgement Form
Nearly every subject and course incorporates Internet-based resources as part of the instruction process in the Malone Central School District. For that reason, your student will be accessing the internet as part of the curricula, and being assigned a district-owned Chromebook. In compliance with federal and state laws, the District would like to assure you that your student's personal information will be protected.

Detailed information concerning the District's Acceptable Use Policy, the Parents Bill of Rights for Data Privacy and Security, and information on the specific web-based services used with students can be found on the "Key Policies" page of the district website, www.maloneschools.org.

We ask that you have a conversation with your child about the importance of taking proper care of the Chromebook they are assigned and keeping it in the case we provide to help protect it. Thank you.
