I understand that the only eligibility requirements for this $225 scholarship are that students (1) must be starting at or returning to CUA in the 2024-25 school year and (2) must plan to register for the Online Precalculus Review Courses (Math 11 or Math 21) in the summer 2024 semester. HOWEVER, there are a limited number of scholarships (70) which will be available on a first-come first-served basis. Students will be alerted if there are no longer any scholarships available, and this will be posted on the course website: https://mathematics.catholic.edu/academics/online-precalculus-review-course/index.html
Filling this form does not guarantee a scholarship, you will receive an email indicating whether the scholarship has been awarded to you.

I understand that I have the opportunity to participate in NSF Research, through which I will learn about my own learning behaviors by filling out surveys during the Online Precalculus Review Course. Students who participated in the research last summer reported numerous benefits included meeting other people and building connections through an online community and learning more about the ways to be more successful in future math courses. They also were very excited to receive gift cards for participating in the focus groups and post-study surveys in the semester following the online summer course.
