2022 Sharing Technologies Seminar                       Call for Papers
The Pipe Users Group of Northern California invites papers for presentation at its 30th annual SHARING TECHNOLOGIES SEMINAR to be held Thursday, February 17, 2022.  Due to the current circumstances regarding  COVID-19, a decision on a live or virtual event hasn't been determined. We are still planning to have a single day event and our goal, as always, is to make this a participant-forward program with as much audience interaction as possible.

The Pipe Users Group is a forum of collection and water system owners, engineers, contractors, vendors and suppliers dedicated to:

•  Evaluating new and current rehab and installation methods;
•  Improving the design, construction, and operation of sewer and water systems;
•  Pooling of resources for demonstrations, workshops, field trips, and seminars showcasing new and existing technologies; and
•  Keeping up on upcoming and current regulations, policies, laws, and standards impacting pipeline design and construction.

The SHARING TECHNOLOGIES SEMINAR objective is to share information developed by agencies and industry professionals throughout the world.

Topics for papers should relate to pipe technology in construction, rehabilitation, or maintenance. Emerging technologies and trenchless construction processes are of special interest. Case histories and/or lessons learned of special projects and new technologies used to solve unusual situations are also good topics. Abstracts of papers should be no more than one typed page and should include the title, a brief description of the paper (limit 200 words), author(s), agency/company, contact person, address, telephone and fax number, and email.

Abstracts are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021. Technical papers will be requested upon acceptance of abstract.
